DNSSEC (short for Domain Name System Security Extensions) are various internet standards that supplement the domain name system with source authentication to ensure authenticity and integrity of the data.

Data for the domain is stored both at the registry and on the name servers.

External Nameserver

If you use external name servers for a domain registered with us, please inform our support team of the required keys so that we can deposit them with the registry for your domain.

Plambee.de Nameserver

If you also use our name server for a domain registered through us, please proceed as follows:

• Log in to your customer account and go from there to the DNS administration.
• Select the domain for which you want to use DNSSEC
• Now click on the menu item “DNSSEC” in the right-hand menu.
• Then click on the key icon to activate DNSSEC
• After activation, the necessary keys are generated and stored on the name servers. Please contact the support team so that we can store the keys for you in the registry.
